WCN23-0278 PREVALENCE OF UNDER NUTRITION AMONG MAINTENANCE HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS IN THE MIDST OF AN ECONOMIC CRISIS

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and nutritional status of a patient is linked in many ways. The prevalence under-nutrition higher developing countries, partly owing to their poor economic status. Sri Lanka currently facing huge crisis the middle diabetes CKD unknown origin epidemic; where one six house-holds study area has at least family member affected by these diseases. Body Mass Index(BMI) Mid Upper Arm Circumference(MUAC) are widely used assessing Related Malnutrition(DRM) which predicts catastrophic outcomes patients.
